The United Kingdom's Cadet movement includes the Sea Cadet Corps, Army Cadet Force,
Air Training Corps and the Combined Cadet Force. Whichever Cadet force you choose to join, whether as a cadet
or adult instructor, there's no better way to learn self-discipline and leadership skills.
So, what's in store? In the Sea Cadet Corps, you'll learn the fundamentals of sailing and boat work, with
the chance to gain specialist skills. The Army Cadet Force will teach you military skills such as drill,
discipline and orienteering. And as a member of the Air Training Corps, you'll even get the chance to take
part in flying, gliding and shooting. Finally, the Combined Cadet Force takes elements from each Corps and
is based in schools and colleges throughout the UK. Become a member of any of these youth movements and the
skills that you will gain will really help you to not only become a good cadet, but also a better citizen now
and for the rest of your life.
